While we certainly never had the same locations and experiences that you did growing up, you still gave us the opportunities to learn. As your kids, I'm confident not one of us grew up not knowing how to work a drill, get our hands a little dirty or build some of the sturdiest couch forts around.

Those simple activities where we cut a quarter in half, worked with you on the table saw or watched you bend steel were seen as entertainment then. Now, they're skills that I can use whenever I need to. Thanks, Dad! Love you~

Thanks Ed, this was a really special post.

I loved the walk down memory lane – lots of adventures, stories, glasses of wine, random moments of insane Schipul PR and brain growing times.

Thanks for all that you've done over the years, what a trip But only one leg of the journey, 2012 here we come!
